*A tour of the mansion is not included in the event’s ticket price for but can be purchased on site with prior RSVP. Much like the Pearl, symbolic in its growth and polishing, Mills Mansion, while ever in the process of returning to its former lustre, rises from the Hudson River’s shores not unlike a rebirth of Venus herself.

With great anticipation, the Friends of Mills Mansion will play host to the power and beauty of the Isadora Duncan oeuvre on the Hudson River in this Inaugural Dance Concert. As a prelude to the performance, there will be a champagne reception in the Beaux-Arts mansion hosted by the Friends of Mills Mansion to benefit educational programs and ongoing restoration efforts at the Staatsburgh State Historic Site. Dr. Bresciani will be in brief conversation illuminating the rich history of Duncan in the Hudson Valley and dipping into themes of the concert.
